A lot of budding artists (both traditional and digital) sign up to online sites and communities. DeviantArt is one of the more popular and successful places on the web where creative people can gather and display their own work as well as comment on other people's. I figured by making an account on this site, I could get an idea of the world of the online artist as well as meet the various creative people in the community and get their opinions on the industry and the equipment and skills associated with it.
